The BBM&L recently received a generous donation of the balloon G-BKOW, a Colt 77A made in 1984. Initially known as 'Fleur de Lys' and after flying the channel with celebrity Miss ELLE, from the Ladies fashion magazine, it was known as 'ELLE'.
Other notable flights include a dramatic flight across the Eiger mountain in Switzerland for a TV commercial and a flight across London with the first Lady Lord Mayor of London, Dame Mary Donaldson.
