Single burner set in a rectangle metal frame, painted red, with fuel lines attached to the burner. The corners of the frame have the shackles for the flying wires.

Description:

Early Mark 1 single burner built by Cameron Balloons Limited, dating from 1971 onwards, when the frames were painted red. The Mark 1 gimballed up and down but only during inflation. The shackled corners were where the envelope and basket wires attached. There were no pole supports from the basket in the early days.
