Airtour prototype single  burner

Circular dial giving height in 100's feet, 1000's feet and 10000's feet. Has a dial at the base to calibrate for ground level above sea level. Instrument is set in a slightly larger surround to enable it to be fixed to the aircraft.

Silver coloured metal instrument with 2 handles and clip at top to hold the balloon fabric. Handles are joined by a bar, with round dial with the pressure readings, indicated by a needle. Together with wooden storage box complete with instructions.

Fabric grab tester

Wicker basket with 2 toggles per side protruding from the rim to attach the gas balloon. Each side has a cane frame with wicker woven on to it and has 3 metal retaining strips. The metal corner pole rings and leather tank straps are also visible.
