We are excited to be attending the Midlands Air Festival again this year and hope to also take G-MUSM to fly the flag for the BBM&L. It is a great event to showcase the BBM&L and ballooning; some of the visitors to the stall primarily only come for the ballooning.
We will stick with the same format for the stall, as it seems to work well, this includes a balloon themed tombola each day as this is a great ice breaker to encourage people to come and have a chat. We will be selling balloon related items – children’s fun packs, jigsaw puzzles, books, pin badges, Cameron colouring books and lots more. We hand out free back copies of Aerostat – they help keep the children entertained at the event and you never know it may spark a lifelong passion for ballooning for some recipients young and old.
If anyone has any balloon themed items they no longer have a use for, and would like to donate to the museum for this year’s stall that would be great, please contact us or bring them along to our Inflation Day on 25th April.
