Description:

Cover carried in Madame Recamier (G-AYZF) a French owned Western 0-65, (later reregistered as F-WTEI) during a meet at Stanford Hall, Rugby, Warwickshire, 31 March - 3 April 1972. The cover is postmarked Rugby, this was the largest meet in Europe at the time, the balloon was piloted by Bertrand Vicaire and the co-pilot was Pierre Zanger. The flight time was 65 minutes and they landed at Medbourne, Leicestershire. IPP - Official BBAC Cover
