Rectangle wicker basket with both short ends gradually increasing in height. Rim of basket is covered in a padded suede. Foot hole, gaps in the wicker for the tank straps, 4 metal pole holders and 4 flying wires are also visible.

Basket built by Thunder & Colt for G-BOSH, a hot air balloon, which was used on high altitude flights over Everest. Details on the basket plaque include: Type 84-S1, Serial number 1265, Date Manufactured June 1988, Registration G-BOSH. Owner was Ace Balloons (Bath) Limited, Andy Elson's Company.
