G-LCIO

A Colt 240A, serial number 1381, named Star Flyer II. The balloon was badly damaged after trans Everest flight on 21 October 1991. This was one of two balloons to achieve the flight, one acting as a camera ship. Chris Dewhirst and Leo Dickinson in G-LCIO and  Andy Elson and Eric Jones in G-LGIO, also a Colt 240A. These were the first flights over the summit of Mount Everest (Nepal to Tibetan plateau). Logbook not held by BBM&L.
