A famous gas balloon named 'JAMBO' by owner Anthony Smith who took it to East Africa to make a series of flights in the Serengeti to film the wild life. He subsequently wrote his book ‘Throw out two hands’ in 1963 and ‘The Dangerous Sort’ in 1970 - both about his balloon ‘JAMBO’ and associated adventures.
