Description:

A cup and saucer made by the house of Limoges to commemorate the first successful circumnavigation of the world by balloon.

The ‘Breitling Orbiter 3’ was piloted by Brian Jones and Bertrand Piccard in March 1999 and took 19 days, 21 hours and 47 minutes to complete the flight.

Donated to the BBM&L by Alan Noble who was flight director of the global flight.
