Happy #NationalPuzzleDay. Here’s a tiny selection of the many jigsaw puzzles we have in our collection. An interesting fact: John Spilsbury ( 1739 – 1769) was aBritish cartographer and engraver. He is credited as the inventor of the jigsaw puzzle. Spilsbury created them for educational purposes, and called them “Dissected Maps”.
