Envelopes
Below is a list of the envelopes now in the care of the museum. They vary from the polythene "Eccles" G-ATGN through the foil based envelope to the standard nylon envelope, not forgetting the airship and gas envelopes. The collection is fairly nomadic, being stored with "keepers" or loaned for meets.
The information on the photographs comes from John Baker and Pete Bish's book, British Balloons, Air Britain and Richard Hands' records. If anyone has additional information or corrections please contact the BBM&L.
